Akshat is Mayank’s nephew, and the son of Sandeep – Mayank’s eldest brother. I had a tough time persuading Akshat to pose for a pic. At last, Akshat obliged on the condition that I he should be clicked a few more times.

The tilak is a mark of auspiciousness. It is applied on the forehead on all religious and ceremonial occasions to denote welcome.

Mayank’s papa and mom (second and third from the right, respectively), uncle, Bhabhis, and others pouring oil onto the bodys "third eye." This ritual is said to balance the mind, body and soul.

My Trip to Hisar

In the third week of April, I visited Hisar to attend the wedding of my friend Mayank. I had a whale of time, exploring the new place. Mayank has a lovable family consisting of his parents, brothers, bhabhis, and two little angels - Akshat and Hitashi. I felt at home during my three-day stay at Mayank's place in Hisar. There's so much of love and warmth floating around that I was moved by the way they took care of me. Here go some of the pics taken at the wedding of Mayank and Vidhi at Hisar.
